Care for Your Tattoos

Do not swim in salt water or pool until your tattoo has healed.
If your tattoo scabs, DO NOT pick at it.
Wash with cold water, no soap and pat dry.
Keep your tattoo moisturised at least twice a day with
baby oil/basic moisturizer
/healing cream for tattoos/Tattoo Goo
Keep sports to the minimum to prevent damage to your tattoo.
Avoid direct sunlight or apply ample sunblock.
(This also applies after your tattoo has healed.)
Remove bandage after25min.

Before you get your tattoos Done.

Before you get a tattoo:

1) Be clear why you want it
2) Understand the symbolism behind the image you are getting inked
(e.g One of the meanings of a sakura blossom is to cherish life because life is short, just like the blooming of the sakura.)
3) Make sure that you will take care of your new ink, maintaining a nice tattoo takes some effort.

Never get a tattoo just for fun or on a whim.
Think it through 'cos it's gonna be permanent.
The most important thing is to know what you want and to be happy with the result.
